Story
As many of you will know, 2015 was an incredibly tough year. I suffered the devastating loss of my daughter being born sleeping, and I nearly lost my wife during childbirth.
This has led me to do a lot of soul-searching and has taught me to grab life with both hands and enjoy it to the fullest. I have decided to take on a big challenge to give me a focus, both mentally and physically, as I have struggled with this in recent months.
On 10th September 2016 I will be taking on the Thames Path Challenge - this is a 100 km / 62 mile run, leaving from Putney Bridge in London and finishing in Henley in Oxfordshire. This is the equivalent of running over two marathons back to back, with a cutoff time of 15 hours.
I am raising funds for the NSPCC and would be incredibly grateful for donations - every penny counts! If you can't afford to sponsor me, words of encouragement between now and September will be so gratefully received! Your support really will spur me on to complete this challenge.
