Following on from the successful maternity bereavement suite appeal, fundraising has begun to create a dedicated baby memorial garden within the grounds of Hereford County Hospital.

Story

In memory of Lola Kinghorn

Last year, friends of mine tragically lost their baby. During this heartbreaking ordeal, they remained on the maternity ward surrounded by happy families with newborn babies. The Born Sleeping Appeal is raising money to create a dedicated bereavement suite to allow these parents to grieve and receive dearly needed comfort. Please consider giving just a small amount to help. They need to raise £70,000 and at last count were about half way there.

The Endurancelife Classic Quarter is a  Ultra Marathon along the south Cornish coast in the UK from Lizard Point to Lands End.

The task is brutally simple: to run non-stop from the southernmost point of England (Lizard to the western most tip (Lands End),  the legendary South West Coast Path. This translates to running 90 degrees of the compass, hence the name, Classic Quarter.
