Story

Over 15 days, between July 9th and July 24th of 2022, I am going to cycle the 1550km around Iceland to challenge myself and raise money for Tiny Changes.  This will be a self-supported ride where I will be camping most nights and will be carrying everything that I need to survive on my bike with me (Tent, clothes, food, water, etc)

you can find out more about me, the route and read my blogs a my dedicated web page at www.icelandtour2022.com

Scott Hutchison and Frightened Rabbit had a profound effect on me growing up and ever since I first heard their song 'Head Rolls Off' in my high school common room, they have been my favorite band.

Scott's ability to put into words the dark and confusing feelings of anxiety, depression and mental illness helped me understand and get through my own struggles. I was absolutely devastated to hear of Scott's death by suicide in May 2018.

Since then, his family have been campaigning to improve mental health amongst children and young people in Scotland.

Tiny Changes (SC049112) aims to further that cause by funding projects and events that support affected people and advance research, and also by raising awareness and influencing policy.

There is a crisis in young people's mental health in Scotland and it is getting worse. The next generation needs your help now.
