Story

Hi all, thanks for taking the time to check out this page. I'm due to start a trek to Everest Base camp very soon via the three high passes in the Himalayas, Nepal.

Although a testing journey on the body and mind it is one i'm super excited about and i feel 100% ready for the challenge.

Everest Base camp itself lies 5365 meters(17,598 ft) above sea level. The route i'll be taking, will need me to conquer and traverse the 3 high passes which will take me to over 5700 meters(18700 ft) therefore reaching almost the same height as Mount Kilimanjaro in Africa.

Over the last few years, I've lost members of my family and extended family to cancer. Many of us also either know someone who has been affected by cancer or know too well how this disease can change peoples lives. For me personally, the care and support that Macmillan provided my family was nothing short of special and therefore deciding to raise money for this charity was an easy decision. Thinking that some of the money raised could help another family in the same way provides me with massive motivation for my journey.

Whatever you donate is massive and i thank you from the depths of my heart for the support.

Due to launch my blog site to follow my journey. This will be live by the time i set off.
