 Fishermen’s Mission Regional Organiser for East Anglia, Andy Malcolm, will be taking part in this year’s London Marathon!

Andy will join thousands of other runners in a gruelling 26 mile trip through London's landmarks on April 17th 2011.

To make things even more interesting Andy will attempt the run proudly wearing his Fishermen’s Mission Cap! However, rumours that he will also be carrying a freshly caught Cod are not thought to be true! 

 Andy and his Cap will be running in support of the Fishermen's Mission. 

Fishing is the UK’s most dangerous profession.

The Fishermen’s Mission carry out a vital and unique role in caring for the men who risk their lives to feed our nation, our own UK Fishermen. The Mission provide emergency and welfare support and especially care for those who have lost loved ones to sea.
