Story

I am taking on the mighty challenge of the UK Ironman 2014 in Bolton on the 20th of July.

For you who don't know what the Ironman Event consists of here you go: 2.4-mile (3.86 km) swim, a 112-mile (180.25 km) bicycle ride and a marathon 26.2-mile (42.2 km) run, raced in that order and without a break

It’s the biggest challenge i have ever taken in my life, especially at the young age of 45!!

I have fantastic support from my wonderful wife and Children.

I chose Scope to raise money for as i would like to help people that are not as fortunate as me or my family. Being disabled is trying enough for both the individual and their families, but scope helps all ages of disabled people, and i know that if one of my children was disabled, we would need all the help that could come our way.

So please if you can dig deep, and i will keep swimming, cycling and running to achieve this goal.
