On Sunday 26th April 2009, I will be attempting to run the London Marathon to raise money for the Shooting Star Children's Hospice.

As detailed elsewhere on this page, the Hospice provides wonderful facilities and care to children and young people with life-limiting conditions and their families, and is staffed by an amazing, dedicated and passionate team of carers. There is no statutory funding for children's hospices so the £3 million needed each year to maintain the care service provision has to be raised from charitable fundraising and donations.

I would be really grateful if you could help/donate in any way you can so that families can enjoy Shooting Star House and what it has to offer for years to come.
