Fundraising for Sarcoma UK
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
I ran my first marathon this April in to raise money and awareness for Sarcoma UK. I ran the London Marathon in 4hrs 19 minutes. In January 2013 my fiancée, Saya, was diagnosed with cardiac angiosarcoma, a rare tumour of the heart, when we were living in Japan. She died in October 2014 when she was twenty-seven, outliving her prognosis by nearly a year.
The charity relies entirely on donations and fundraising events, particularly the London Marathon. They are a small, incredibly hard-working team still in their infancy. Any funds that I can raise for them now will be significant in researching the disease that profoundly affected both Saya’s life and mine.
Thanks for visiting my page and considering donating.
