As you know Andy passed away in March 2017 after spending 3
years living and working with sarcoma cancer, a form of cancer most of you had probably never heard of before.

Andy worked through the whole time, including dictating
emails to me when he first came around after his operations right to the
day he took to his bed for the last time, when he was making sure that Scott’s secretary had a full contact list.

Because sarcoma cancer is not as well known it does not get
the help from some of the bigger cancer charities and therefore as a family we would like to raise as much as possible to hopefully stop other families suffering.

To achieve this aim for 2018, Jonathan our 16-year-old son,
who was in the middle of his mock GCSEs when his Daddy passed away, along with our niece, have decided to take up the challenge in August of cycling the length of the country. Lands End to John O Groats, 1000 miles, ascending the height of Everest nearly twice over.

I would therefore appreciate if in Andy’s memory, you could
sponsor them. All the money will go to Sarcoma UK which uses its money for research and a helpline.

This is an awful form of cancer that seems to come on in
particularly healthy people, including many children. The main sign of the disease is a slight mark usually on the limbs and often with no discolouration, so the sort of thing you could easily ignore thinking you’d knocked yourself.  But just so you have some idea how quickly it
can change, Andy noticed a mark he couldn’t explain on 23rd December
2013, the doctor thought it was nothing but luckily sent him for tests, and when they operated on the 5th March 2014 they removed a piece of his leg about the size of a melon.

Please help us help others.
