Story
I love my cycling. I used to road race and time trial years ago. I've remained an active cyclist since, but now at the age of 51, I've been shanghai'd into riding my cherished Italian road bike 300 miles over 4 days from London to Paris to coincide with the arrival of the 100th Tour de France.
I'm financing my own considerable costs to do the trip, but it seems a shame to make such a monster effort for no reward - why not benefit others at the same time?, so I've chosen to raise funds for a local charity - The Willow Foundation. They provide special days for seriously ill people aged between 16-40, to lighten the burden of their illness.
With a lot of support, we can give these poorly people a real lift in their time of need - that's my goal! So please feel free to provide some sponsorship. Big or small, it all adds up!.
Thank you.
