Story
Poppy Guilder was diagnosed at the age of 14 months with a large brain tumour. She has endured years of treatment with a smile on her face and amazing bravery, anybody who meets her can't help but be amazed at what a fantastic beautiful little girl she is (you cant help but smile), her mum and dad (Lisa and Brian) do a fantastic amount of work running the poppyfields charity raising money for the doctors at Birmingham Childrens Hospital.
Anybody who knows me or has seen me knows i'm not built for running (just think of the film Run fat boy run. So on the night of the last poppyfields Ball I decided to enter the Birmingham Half Marathon? I told my wife and close friends of my idea, thinking that they would laugh, and tell me not to be so stupid, have you seen yourself in the mirror fat boy? But oh no they all said what a great idea it would be, so here I am with no turning back!
I roped in Poppy's Aunty Michelle (Darlaston) who I think was also hoping it wouldn't happen! It would be great if you could sponsor us, no matter how large or small the donation it will all be appreciated. I would love to smash the £300 target so if you can help, please do.
