Each week at least twelve young people in the UK die suddenly as a result of undiagnosed heart conditions. At Cardiac Risk In the Young we aim to save young lives & to help those affected by the sudden cardiac death. We do this by providing support, information & screening those affected.

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I am part of a team of 13 individuals completing the 163Km route through Holland and Germany over a 4 day event.  The event is an endurance road march which has over 45,000 participants.  This year a little over 39,000 people completed the event in very hot weather.

I am walking this event to raise awareness and funds for the charity CRY - Cardiac Risk in the Young.  I was honoured to know and work with a young man, Michael Kentzer who passed away at only 14 years of age, a week before Christmas 2011.  My fundraising and drive to complete the event was with Michael in mind.  Please donate as much as you are able in this very worthy charitable cause.
