Virgin London Marathon 2010 · 25 April 2010 ·

BBS is the only national sports disability charity in the UK that specifically supports people with sight loss to take part in sport and recreational activities, ensuring that people with sight loss have the same opportunities as sighted people to experience the power of sport in their lives.

Story

Cheers for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Running the London Marathon is something I've wanted to do for a long time and with the help of a couple of colleagues from work we're going to give it a go!

Whilst doing the run will be a personal challenge for me, I will be raising money for British Blind Sport to try and benefit others. They are a very worthy charity that believes that blind and partially-sighted children and adults should not be excluded from taking part in sport and leisure activities. Your donation would help it to give every visually impaired person in the UK the chance to keep fit, make new friends and achieve their ambitions.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please contribute what you can, every little bit will help.

Thanks

Andy
