Andy's Manchester Marathon & London Marathon & Manchester 10K

London Marathon 2019 · 28 April 2019 ·
In June 2018 we found out my 5 year old (now 6 year old) daughter, PixieBelle, has a brain tumour. The treatment plan for this was to go through 84 weeks of Chemotherapy.
In December 2018 we reached week 21, a quarter of the way through the treatment , when PixieBelle had a reaction to the drugs. The Oncology team have said that she can no longer continue on that treatment plan and that the prescribed drugs would need to change. This unfortunately puts us back at week 1 on a new treatment plan.
PixieBelle has had 2 brain operations, about 15 MRI scans, and 21 weeks of chemotherapy already. She has struggled at times, we have struggled at times but she has got to this stage. We have seen bad weeks and good weeks, hair loss and weight loss.
We know the road ahead has become longer again but we are travelling together.
I am running the Manchester Marathon in April, the London Marathon also in April and the Manchester 10K in May to help raise money towards Royal Manchester Children's Hopsital's iMRI scanner appeal to help children who have to go through brain surgery
