If you are seriously injured in an accident and require an air ambulance, it is possible that the best hospital for you will not have a place to land nearby. The HELP Appeal raises money to build helipads on hospital grounds so that the patient has a better chance of receiving medical attention in time.

Unbelievably, there is no government funding or lottery money available for such life saving work. The HELP Appeal relies solely on fundraising donations.

In 2017 I was privileged to run the London Marathon for The HELP Appeal. On October 3rd 2021 I did it again albeit virtually again but would love to be able to assist the HELP Appeal with some more much needed funds.
