Last Autumn whilst watching "Celebrity in the Jungle: Get Me out of Here", I commented to my Wife how brave they all were in jumping out of a plane, tandem parachuting down into the jungle, and that I'd hope to have the ba**s to do so myself if chance ever came.  

Anyway, you can guess what my Christmas present was from my Wife. Had to booked to be jumped before August 2011. It took me 3 months to actually get around to booking it - Langar Airfield, Notts - Friday 27th May 2011.

I really hope that I hold my nerve, and even more so, that I actually enjoy the experience. It's cost a lot of money not to. 

So this isn't really a fundraising event as such. It's me giving relatives, friends, colleagues and acquaintances the opportunity of donating money to the wonderful Rainbows Hospice. I haven't a story to tell us such regards Rainbows, just that what they do touches my heart.

By doing so, you'll give me even more reason not to back out of the jump when staring down to terra firma from goodness knows how high up in a small light aircraft. (which in itself isn't something I'm looking forward to to be honest)  

As my wife has paid the jump fee, every penny donated goes to Charity, except a small fee to the excellent, and well respected, Just Giving.com
