Andy's Six Hour Tennis Hitathon page

I have been a Pro Tennis Coach for 30 years. I recently lost my dear nephew to suicide.
He was only 28 years old and led a very active life to outsiders, but few always get to know the demons that can lay within our nearest and dearest.
Since this tragic event all I have heard is that 'it's a common even amongst young people'.
This can't be right.
When someone has thoughts of suicide, connecting with others can make all the difference. But reaching out can feel impossible.
So many people go through this pain alone. That’s why preventing suicide means working together.
Together, we can fight dangerous stigma that stops people talking about suicide.
Together, we can learn to recognise and support those at risk, and connect them with a network of lifesaving services.
Together, we can prevent suicide. Grassroots works to make sure nobody has to go through thoughts of suicide alone.
So I am going to perform a Tennis Hitathon non-stop for 6 hours with anyone who wants to rally with me for any length of time on Sunday 4th December 2022 at Southend Leisure and Tennis Centre between 9am and 3pm.
My aim is to raise at least £1,000.
Please contact me to book a free slot.
The only thing I ask is for you (if you are able) to make a donation to this page and/or to share this with friends on Social Media.
Thank you for your generous support!
