On the 4th of April 2014 we lost Ian who was a great husband, dad, colleague, friend and to me my work dad and not to mention the life and sole of a good party!

In his memory I will be taking part in a 60hr continuous 5-a-side game playing a total of 15hrs across 2 days (2 x 7.5 hr shifts) over the May Day Bank Holiday weekend.

So what is it all about - For over 25years Ian regularly played 5-a-side with a group of friends and over time their sons also played. It became a ritual that spanned generations and became know as the dads and lads 5-a-side game.

One of the young lads (Adam 24) who played with them also passed away to a condition known as Sudden Arrhythmic Death Syndrome so the 60hr game is being played in memory of both Ian and Adam with original members, family and friends taking part.
