I am a military veteran who has experienced the suffering of children in war and would like to contribute to relieving distress of the children caught up in the war in Ukraine.  I am a recreational cyclist who has recently retired from teaching and our local town and schools are contributing to appeals for Ukraine.  This is my way of helping. I have set my target at £1003 to match the distance in miles from Land's End to John O' Groats.
