The lady in this picture is called Penny. It was taken just over five years ago and she is holding baby Elijah. The following was written by Elijah's Mum (and a friend of mine) Danielle:-

"5 years ago this evening I was being poked and prodded awaiting the arrival of a baby... a big baby, a baby that wasn't going anywhere at 10lb 9oz, it liked it where it was! Thank god the beautiful midwife Penny (my Penny Angel) was there to hold my hand, thru the worry & pain relief & along with the laughs, Ben , after feeling like I had been cut in half, our brilliant/enormous baby Elijah was born. Now we are holding your hand Penny as you face your own struggle and fight against Pancreatic Cancer (and what a kick in the wotsits you are giving it!) Thank you again for everything you did for us as a family,to help make Elijah's arrival into the world a safe and happy one. Now hopefully, we can at last give help in return. "
