Story

I would be grateful for you contribution to a hugely worthwhile cause.

Team Cheetham will be running the Edinburgh half marathon in memory of our brother Adam, whose final days were made better by the support provided by Macmillan.

Adam died aged just 27 in 2009, and is missed every day.

Whilst Andy, Mark and Caroline were related to Adam, the Team has been bolstered by Steven Girdwood.

Steven and Adam were like brothers, and Steven continues his long history of Macmillan fundraising in Adam's name.  Steven and Adam played football together for Dunbar United for many years and Steven donated all the proceeds from his own recent testimonial to Macmillan in Adam's memory.

Almost everyone we meet have been touched by Cancer of a loved one, and whilst the battle to the cure goes on, the support from Macmillan is invaluable to the affected families.  Without this support, an unbearable situation would be infinitely worse.

I would be touched, as would the lives of many direct beneficiaries of Macmillan's compassion, if you could contribute whatever you can to the cause.

Thank you for your time to read this, and for whatever contribution you are able to make.  Each penny helps.

Kind regards,

Andy, Mark, Caroline Cheetham and Steven Girdwood.
