Story

I have lived with the effects of Huntingtons disease pretty much all my life. My gran died from it when I was in primary school.

Out of her 4 children, three had the faulty gene and out of them my mum is the only one left alive and living with HD.

The SHA have helped my mum live as normal a life as possible staying independent into her seventies. The care and support provided goes above and beyond and doing this allows me to show my support and thanks for all they do.

Also, on a personal note, I'm running for my Auntie Elma who was like a second mum to me but sadly passed last year.
