Story
So I've decided to take on the Challenge of the London to Brighton off-road cycle 2023. 100km of mountain biking, 1,200m of ascent, most if it later in the route and looking at around 6-7 hours on a saddle that isn't really designed for sitting on!!
This is a cause that is close to my heart (no pun intended!) as I have close family members, friends and colleagues with heart conditions. All of these people have benefitted from treatments developed from research funded by the British Heart Foundation which depends on voluntary donations.
I am incredibly grateful to all those who have sponsored me on this challenge to date and to anyone yet to sponsor. Your donation will make a big difference to those living with heart conditions.
British Heart Foundation's vision is a world free from the fear of heart and circulatory diseases. We raise money to research cures and treatments, so we can beat heartbreak forever. Find out more about what we do here: https://www.bhf.org.uk/what-we-do/who-we-areWe have helped improve and save the lives of many people with heart and circulatory diseases. But these conditions still affect millions of families. With events like the London to Brighton Off-Road Bike Ride, we hope to raise funds to take on the challenges in the research of heart and circulatory diseases.
