Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
Thank you to everyone who has donated so far. I Managed to complete stage 1: The London Marathon in 4hrs 42 mins, it hurt a lot but the crowd were fantastic and carried me through the last 6 miles at least.
Bring on Stage 2 of the challenge: The Edinburgh Marathon on the 31st May - definitely out to smash the time set in London!
As most of you know 7 years ago I broke my back in a mountain biking accident. I've had a great couple of years and had the chance to be involved in some fantastic opportunities. I would not have been able to do a lot of this without the support of Back Up who helped me adjust to life after the injury and enabled me to do the things that I wanted to do.
Back Up supports people coming to terms with their injuries and helps them get back to doing the sort of things they used to.
I am planning to push the London Marathon on 26th April and the Edinburgh Marathon on 31st May; to help Back Up continue to provide their vital services. Anything you donate really does make a difference to people's lives. £25 can pay for an individual to attend a wheelchair skills session at a spinal unit.
