I will be trying to walk over 100,000 steps in a day which will mean walking over 50 miles.

As a team we are going to do 1,000,000 steps in 24 hours. Each team member (about 14 of us taking part) will have their own target step count towards the total however it means that most people will have to walk over 40 miles on the day.It's a massive challenge but we all wanted to do something for such a good local charity. Isabel Hospice provides palliative support to the 370,000 people who live in eastern Hertfordshire.Hospice care is about helping people to live well for as long as possible and have a good death in the place of their choice when the time comes. Without your help, we could not make this possible for our patients and their families. Each year we care for approx 2,000 people but we know there are even more people that need our help.
