Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
I am running the adidas Silverstone Half Marathon on the 11th March 2012. I am running in aid of ward M3 at the Sheffield Children’s Hospital. The ward deals with oncology and clinical hematology inpatients and is currently going through a refurbishment project that will create interest for patients who are often frequent attendees. This is particularly important for children in cubicles who can be isolated to prevent infection, for example Bone Marrow Transplant patients.
This cause has got a personal meaning behind it as at the age of 3 I was diagnosed with a platelet count of 4 (average 250-280) which resulted a 24 hour nose bleed and a blood transfusion. All this took place on ward M3. Please support me in raising money for the fantastic work which is done at the Sheffield Children's Hospital.
Ways to donate,
1. on my JustGiving page
2. text 'ANDS88£1' to 70070 which will give £1
3. in person.
Every pound does really make a difference. Thanks
Andrew
