London 24-hour Swim Relay - 2022 · 11 June 2022 to 12 June 2022 ·

A 24 hour swim relay at Shepperton Open Water Swim to raise money for swimming lessons for children with disabilities.

Story

I swim to maintain my health and sanity; I’m not a good swimmer, and very slow, but it doesn’t matter!  We encourage our kids to learn to swim well because it will bring many benefits throughout their lives.

Why shouldn’t disabled children benefit from learning to swim as well?   Level Water is a charity which arranges swimming lessons for disabled children, which I’m proud to support in this swimming challenge.

A team of 8 of us will be swimming for 3 (non-consecutive) hours each during a 24 hour period in Shepperton Lake on 11th-12th June.

I expect to be the slowest, and am looking to survive(!), enjoy it, and raise some money for a good charity.

Any support will be appreciated, or simply your prayers and good wishes.
