Story
Andrew's Army first appeared on the scene in late 2018 and was able to raise over £5,000 for a charity that had supported my family through very difficult times.
Andrew was diagnosed with Osteosarcoma, a rare form of bone cancer in August 2018 at the age of 12 years old. After a long and brave battle against the disease, Andrew sadly passed away peacefully on Sunday 18th August at his home.
So his Army is mobilising one final time, on this occasion to support another amazing charity - Momentum. They arranged some lovely surprises for Andrew and my family before he passed away, and will continue to support us as we try and come to terms with our loss.
I am therefore taking part in the Thames Bridge Trek in two weeks time, that leaves little time to undertake much training or fundraising, but every little will help Momentum. They are celebrating their 15th birthday this year, the support they provide to children (and their families) who are suffering with cancer and other life-challenging conditions is brilliant and so important.
Join Andrew's Army for it's final challenge, any donations go entirely to Momentum, together we can help secure Andrew's legacy, thank you so much for your support.
Remember: Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never share them with anyone or send you unwanted emails.
