Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
The short version is SpecialEffect are amazing and I thought I could go through some pain and a lot of effort to help them make a world of difference to other people.
I hope to update this page regularly if you want to see my progress and maybe even follow me on the day.
Back in November 2020 I was given the opportunity to enter the ballot to run for SpecialEffect. Before even knowing if I was going to be sussessful I wanted to give it my best shot for them. I began with running 3km twice a week and trained regularly through Christmas and the snow. It was very cold and wet!
SpecialEffect really do change peoples lives so please help me to help them. Your support is massively appreciated by my and them. Every little helps :)
SpecialEffect enables severely disabled people to use technology in any way possible – using whichever part(s) of their body that work best – by adapting tech to their individual needs. It’s so important they can join in with family/friends, to feel included and not left out. This can hugely benefit mental wellbeing, self-esteem and quality of life - and much needed FUN!
