Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I'm Andrew and I'm 4 months old.

I'm taking on a challenge to read 250 books by my 1st birthday, all borrowed from my local libraries.

I'm a big fan of Bookbug in my local library.

Books that are fantastic for infants like touchy-feely and lift-the-flap books don't last terribly long in the library because they get worn and broken easily.  I'm hoping to raise money for the Scottish Book Trust so that libraries can have more books like these for infants like me, as well as helping with the other amazing work that they do.

I also want people to know about my challenge to show that there are so many benefits to reading books with wee ones like me (like bonding, developing language skills, learning more about the world and lots more!).  Read about the benefits of reading to babies here - https://www.emmasdiary.co.uk/baby/lets-play/story-time
I hope that more people will start to use their local library too!
