Story

Hi everyone,

One week to go! Read my story below, and hopefully sponsor me a few pounds. Thanks.

This year I'm running the Brighton Marathon on April 13th in aid of the Multiple System Atrophy (MSA) Trust.

MSA is a devastating disease which causes cell shrinkage and loss in the brain structures which control bodily functions like movement, speech and balance, amongst other things. It's progressive, which means it gets worse over time, and there is no current cure.

All the money you donate here goes straight to the MSA trust, which supports research into the causes of MSA and provides support to those affected. I'm running in memory of my father-in-law Brian, who lost his fight with MSA in 2009, at the age of 63.

The more you give, the more motivated I'll be to beat my 2012 time and get under four hours. Having run this tortuous thing before, I know that a little support makes a lot of difference.

Thanks everyone!

Andrew
