Thanks for visiting my fundraising page. 

Last October my father died of cancer after a brief stay in Coventry Hospital.  I want to honour his memory and raise funds for a worthy cause by making it to the top of Mont Blanc.  Cancer Research UK are not providing any financial support for this trip. 

Tim Steele and I and three other slightly mad individuals tried last year and were unsuccessful (due to the weather).  This year, four of us will be back to try again, with two new faces to join us on the trek.  So please help Tim and me make it to the top (we will be roped together so its we either both succeed or neither of us!) by motivating us to raise money for an important cause.  

As you can see from the updated photo, Tim and I successfully summited on Thursday morning (2nd July) - a long trek up the trois montagnes route for added excitement, and an even longer trek back on a very hot day.
