My training for the big day went well and I completed the marathon in 5hrs 53minutes, 7 minutes  faster than in 2006.

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Christian Aid will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

All the money donated will go directly to Christian Aid to support their work with the poor and disadvantaged of the world. To give you an idea of the sort of projects your money will go to here are a few examples:

£20 will provide a family in Angola, returning to their home, with basic kitchen equipment, blankets, tools and seeds.

£31 will pay for the materials for all the participants in an HIV/AIDS training session in Ghana.

£84 will pay the annual salary of a teacher in a school in Bangladesh.

All donations, howevere large or small, will be very gratefully received. Please give as generously as you can, within the constraints of your budget, to support Christian Aid's work with the poor and needy.
