I could barely move at one point in my life, and 2024 will be my second Kilt Walk. What a change! It's not easy, but it's worth it, not just as a defiant act of celebration but to raise money for cats and dogs with no home to go to.

When my health was terrible, when I couldn't raise an arm or bend a knee, I felt helpless. I hated it. The Edinburgh Dog and Cat Home looks after helpless animals abandoned by people. If I raise any money from this 23-mile walk, it's going straight to this local charity doing such good in grim times.
