Fundraising for CAMFED
Story
Credit must first go to the 3 gentlemen from "Adelaide to London" for inspiring me to do this. Thanks lads!
On July 12th 2009 I'll be running the British 10k London Run in support of the charity Camfed.
By sponsoring me and therefore by sponsoring Camfed, you will be contributing to the education of a young woman in one of the poorest areas in Africa. It only costs 180GBP to send a girl to school for a whole year so this is my sponsorship aim - please help me to achieve it!
The benefits of this education includes a 3-fold reduction in her likelihood of being HIV positive and a 25% increase in her future income (see website or contact me for more info)
For any Australians reading this, the exchange rate is close enough to 50:50 now so your money goes even further than normal! Please get in touch if want to donate but are put off by the international transaction fees as I have a plan for this.
