the Playtex Moonwalk london 2008 . . .

. . . Completed!

On Sunday, 18th, myself (along with my wife and friend + 15,000 others) completed the 26.2 mile course.  We passed under the 'Start' line at approx. 00:17 and returned 8:30 hours later at 08:45:46 (although not all 15,000!).

A fantastic experience, although tough towards the end, walking around central London throughout the night and into a beautiful sunny (and dry) Sunday morning.

Why am I doing the Moonwalk? 

(26 miles walking around London in the middle of the night, wearing a bra...!?!?!)

Well...

 I am a son; a husband; and a father of two beautiful daughters...

I also have a Mother-in-law, a Sister, Sister-in-law and a wonderful group of female friends...

My life has not been torn apart by breast cancer...many have...

I'm doing this for the women in my life and in memory of Becs - sister of a good friend, whose life was torn apart by Breast Cancer.
