Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
This summer I will be cycling 200 miles in 3 days, across former First World War battlefields, to raise money for MAG (Mines Advisory Group). They are a great organisation - raising money to clear minefields and other battlefield detritus in Bosnia, Angola, Cambodia and wherever else in the world there is conflict and war.
I've been training hard, losing weight and getting fitter - I'm terrified of being left behind by the other participants! Please do what you can to support me - you can be assured that your money will go to a really worthwhile cause.
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
So please dig deep and donate now.
By the way the photo is from my bearded days (I've shaved it off to be more aerodynamic) at Tyne Cot Cemetry in Passchendaele by the grave of Henry Date who died in the 3rd Battle of Ypres in August 1917
