Story
In April 2024, I will be taking on the huge challenge of running the London Landmarks Half Marathon for a special cause.
In July 2023, my son Toby was born with a rare heart condition called transposition of the great arteries. He required open heart surgery at 10 days old and then suffered a collapsed lung at 12 days old which required an additional surgery. During his time at the evelina hospital, the staff were brilliant and really supportive for what was a very stressful time for my family. I’ve decided to run the half marathon to try and raise some money for the ECHO charity to help them continue to support other families effected by children’s heart conditions.
Thank you so much in advance for donating whatever you can, it really will make a massive difference. No donation is too small!
