Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

No seriously.... I am not really one for undertaking fundraising events but I do like a challenge and thought that as I am putting all the hard work & pain into training for this Sportive, which started in the miserable cold and wet winter months of January, I thought there should be some gain at the end. The charity I have chosen is Parkinson's UK, which has a personal connection due to my Dad who was diagnosed with the condition a few years ago and suffers from the effects of the disease.

Whatever the weather I'm sure it'll be a huge challenge and hopefully with your help we can raise some money for a worthy cause.

Don't do what I do and think you'll leave it till later and then forget to do it. It'll take you a few seconds to support me and a great charity.

Thank you very much.

Anyone can get Parkinson’s. It gets worse over time and there’s no cure. Yet. Funding research into the most promising treatments, we’re getting closer to a cure. Until then, we're improving life for people with Parkinson’s, and the people in their lives. Together we'll find a cure.
