Story
I volunteer each year at Camp-Forget-Me-Not to remember my brother, Robert, and to help DC-area children who have lost someone in their lives (illness, suicide, and murder are usually the leading causes). Camp is a way for kids to meet peers who have experienced similar losses and continue the healing process. I appreciate your help. Thanks!

Camp Forget-Me-Not/Camp Erin DC Campers will enjoy a full day of traditional camp activities and grief focused workshops to help them explore a variety of ways to express themselves while developing skills. All the activities are specially designed to help campers express themselves and develop bonds with others. Camp Forget-Me-Not/Camp Erin DC is provided free of charge. Meals and snacks will be provided during the day camp. Please join us by generously supporting this year's amazing camp programming! Help us counter the social isolation, loss of ritualizing grief and in-person grief support brought on by living in a pandemic! The Wendt Center is only able to provide Camp Forget-Me-Not/Camp Erin DC free of charge because of generous donors like YOU! Check out our 2021 day camps here: https://youtu.be/WdW_nBmHSYo
