I'm running the Bath Half Marathon on March 6th 2011, and I'm trying to raise £200 for Cancer Research UK.

The reason I'm backing this charity is because in 2009, despite the best efforts, I sadly lost a close relative to pancreatic cancer, one of the most aggressive forms, with one of the lowest survival rates, so I'm glad to have this opportunity to fight back for the team.

It's a 13.3 mile course but I've already run over 85 miles in training, and I'm hoping to cross the finish line in under 2 hours.

It's real easy to donate, just pull out your card, enter your bank account details, and tick gift aid.  Nothing to it.
