Story
Sadly on the 22nd April this year we lost a true legend of a man, Ron Thomas, aged 58. I know that term is over used these days but for me he was the best father-in-law a man could wish for. Life was never dull with him around, he always had a smile on his face, telling jokes and stories of his colourful life in England and South Africa. He loved nothing more than having his family around him (especially his grandchildren) and cooking up an unbelievable curry. Such a charismatic man, once you met Ron you would never forgot him.
He is always in my thoughts and dearly missed by Nina, Michelle, Chris, Martin and the rest of his family. It seemed only right to raise money for the British Heart Foundation in his memory, given that Ron unfortunately died of a heart attack. I will be running my 17th Great North Run this year and my son, Jack (4), will also be running in the Mini Great North Run. So Team Walton are looking to raise as much money as possible for this great charity. I truly appreciate any help you can give.
