It’s almost two years since my cancer surgery and finally things are ago…

Recently diagnosed with cancer of the rectum and prostate which involved major 13 hour surgery, 2 days in intensive care, a few weeks in hospital and the last two months slowly starting the road to recovery. To aid my recovery further I have set myself the challenge to do the 2020 London marathon for a great charity Phab kids. 

I have a long way to go but this has give me a huge goal to work towards and ultimately will help my recovery.

I need support, I need help but i know I can do this with help and support from friends family’s and colleagues. 

It’s a great charity and I am looking forward to getting back to training and being active again. The charity supports disabled and disadvantaged children and young people through various projects, you can read more on their website and I’m sure you’ll agree it’s a great cause.
