On Sunday 11th July 2021, a team of 20 brilliant food heroes from FareShare Sussex are taking on a cycling challenge across the scenic South Downs. Together the team will cycle 900 miles - further than the distance from Lands End to John O'Groats!
Story
So, In just under two weeks I will be attempting to cycle 60 miles for a little known charity FareShare Sussex that supplies surplus food to front line projects supporting local communities throughout the south coast!
For my training I have badly twisted my left ankle to the point even the doctors thought i had broken it (before X-ray)(Pictures on request). I have been to the Download Festival pilot which was fantastic, and unrelatedly have just been put in self isolation by my NHS app from meeting someone last week on Tuesday.
To put it lightly I do like a challenge, and only managing to ride six kilometres this year means i'm staring right into the face of Cthulhu himself!
It would mean so much if everyone who reads this could donate a small amount in order to help me get through this painful but undoubtedly fun ride!!
Many Thanks for your support! xx
