On October 8th myself and a group of hardy "Fareshare Fanatics" will be embarking on a gruelling 10km journey across muddy fields, up steep hills, through woods, washing off in river crossings, navigating through mud craters, and fighting our way through deep muddy bogs, with around 120 obstacles and many more muddy surprises along the way! 

The money raised will support the work of Fareshare Sussex, a small charity making a big difference by tackling food waste and fighting hunger. Fareshare Sussex works with the food industry to intercept good food and redistributes it to frontline charities and community groups that support vulnerable people across Sussex (and soon Surrey). 

The work of Fareshare is only possible through the hard work and dedication of an army of volunteers (around 70 a month). Everyone in this team is either a staff member or volunteer so we see first-hand the difference your donation makes. 

£10 will pay for the delivery of 50 meals. Reaching our stretch target of £2000 will enable us to provide 10,000 meals and save 4 tonnes of food from being wasted.
