Story
In December 2012 we sadly lost Sandra - a long standing and much loved member of England's Barmy Army supporter's group to PBC. She was only 56 years old.
In 2014 I allowed my beard to grow to maximum length. People asked how long I would keep my whiskers and I said "Until England win back The Ashes!" To the surprise of many a 3-2 victory was secured this summer. Sandra's husband Boz challenged me to use the shave to try and raise £1,000 for the PBC Foundation at which point he would match it. When England Cricketer Ian Bell got to hear of this he made it clear that he wanted to take on the task himself and lend his name to the PBC cause.
I haven't been clean shaven since 2010 so I'm curious to see how much I've aged! The event is due to take place imminently, will be videoed and posted on YouTube for all to see. Watch this space for details.
