In 3 weeks time, my brothers and I will face one of our toughest challenges to date, the Birmingham Marathon. Yes and marathon!! But not as tough as some of the challengers the poorly children face daily at the Birmingham Children's Hospital.
As many of you know, sadly, we lost our sister, Sarah in 1988 to a rare and aggressive cancer aged just 14 months. She had big blue eyes, beaming smile and a happy personality to match. Always laughing and giving lots of kisses and cuddles, she loved the camera and would be here first for any photo shots!
Richard and I have decided to run the Birmingham Marathon in her memory as this year would have been her 30th birthday and our mission is to raise as much money as possible to support the amazing work of Birmingham Children's Hospital who treated and cared for Sarah in her short time there.
Please dig deep to give these children a chance to have a healthy life, any amount is greatly appreciated.
Thank you for taking the time to read our story, we understand there are thousands of charities out there, but hope you can help us support this most wonderful and amazing hospital that cares for so many poorly children.
Andrew and Richard
