Story
Hi all, please see attached link to my fundraising page. I'm hoping to raise as much money as I can for Bristol Children's Hospital in memory of Abigail Owen, who tragically passed away on 10th February after suffering a brain haemorrhage. Thanks for your support - Abi would really appreciate it.
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
Abi, a young girl of just 12, suffered a sudden and severe brain haemorrhage. After a brave fight, Abi passed away, leaving her family and friends shocked and devastated.
Her family are taking some comfort in knowing that by donating her organs Abi helped to save the lives of four other children and spare their parents suffering the same loss.
My little girl Flo was friends with Abi and her sister and brother, and wanted us to help to support the charity in some way in honour of her friend. So I'm now running in memory of Abi and hoping to raise as much money as I can for this charity, which directly funds the equipment used in the intensive care ward at Bristol Children's Hospital. The amazing team there work unbelievably hard every day to save children's lives and even if they can't, as in Abi's case, they make every effort to give the children as much comfort and dignity as possible.
Please give whatever you can to help this wonderful cause, every £1 counts. Even if you can't give anything, thank you for reading this and thank you for sparing a thought for Abi and her family.
