Mekong SUP · 8 April 2018

We clear landmines and destroy weapons to save and improve lives worldwide.

Story

We will be Stand up Paddling from Huay Xai to Luang Prabang in April, a distance of about 310km, in 40 degree heat, sadly with a chance of meeting communities affected by unexploded ordnance.
We are also aiming to complete the whole trip without any single-use plastic.

We would like to raise as much money as possible for Mines Advisory Group.

MAG’s work in conflict affected areas makes people safer, and gives them the opportunity to rebuild their lives. In addition to removing and destroying landmines and unexploded bombs, MAG also conducts Risk Education sessions with affected communities, as well as employing and training local people in landmine and bomb clearance.
