Having qualified to do the Cinque Ports 100 I was looking for a military related charity to raise some money for. In the Somerset County Gazette I came across an article about the Taunton Association for the Homeless opening some accommodation specifically for military veterans who are homeless. For me this ticked two boxes, not only was it military related, it was also local. So please support me as I try to walk 100 miles in 48 hours. The furthest I've walked so far is 62 miles so I'm going to have to go the extra mile (actually extra 38 miles) in order to complete the challenge. I know there will be dark periods as I trudge along, but my dark periods will be nothing compared to those who don't have a roof over their head. The more you sponsor me the more it will spur me on and discourage me from taking the easy option and dropping out before then end. Cheers!
